The spider has five eyes arranged in an arc, resembling those of Muffet from Undertale. The sign is supposed to hint the boss's bounce attack, similar to how the sign spiders indicate the next attack in Undertale, though it's hard to get the message at first glance. At around 1:14 into the song, a spider holding a sign with the Soul put on it can be seen in the bottom corner, a clear reference to the game.
